- I have relatives buried there and I was from Grimsby. Born in Cleethorpes and lived most of my time in Grimsby until moving to New Zealand in 1962.
My Gt.grandfather Joseph Rossiter Billing was the original occupier of the Lodge. He was the superintendant of Parks and Cemeteries in Grimsby.
There is a Billing Grave behind the Lodge, some of the family members were buried in the old cemetery in Ainslie Street.
Anne Howe my cousin is helping with the Lodge project and if I can be of any assistance with family history of the Billings I would be only too happy.
